The 4th regional governors conferences focused on the strategic importance of professional development. This conference is for school governors from across the East Midlands who wish to explore the growing importance of well-led continuing professional development (CPD) within schools. Themes will include:
CPD and self evaluation/Ofsted
CPD and performance management
CPD and the wider school workforce
CPD and succession planning for school leadership
This conference blends stimulating presentation and ‘practitioner-led’ workshops to provide a day of reflection on how governors can fulfil an effective strategic role.
